Terms of service
Last updated:
These terms apply to the QRCodeTransfer website and the services you use through it. They explain your responsibilities when creating an account, sharing content, collecting responses or connecting your own systems.
Use the service only if you can accept these terms and have authority to act for any organization you represent. If you do not agree, stop using the service. Your mandatory rights under applicable law remain protected.
The service and your use
QRCodeTransfer helps you generate static QR codes and manage dynamic QR codes, short links, pages, forms and product links. Available features depend on your account, workspace role and plan. The destination behind a dynamic address can change; the printed address remains its identity. A static QR code contains its data directly and cannot be changed by editing a saved destination.
Content and acceptable behavior
Use QRCodeTransfer for lawful activities and share only material you may distribute. This applies to destinations, uploaded files, page text, form fields, logos, links and material supplied through an API or bulk import. You remain responsible for content after changing its destination.
- Do not distribute malware, steal credentials, run phishing campaigns, impersonate another person or organization, or mislead visitors about where a link leads.
- Do not publish child exploitation, threats, incitement to violence, unlawful hate, non-consensual intimate material, or material encouraging serious harm to a person.
- Do not disclose private information without a lawful basis, infringe copyright or other rights, promote unlawful goods or services, or use collected information to harass or spam people.
- Do not probe other workspaces, bypass access controls, misuse credentials, overwhelm the service, or conceal abusive activity behind redirects or replacement files.
We may investigate reports and restrict content or access to protect people and the service. A list of examples cannot describe every harmful use. Restrictions should reflect the nature of the issue, applicable law and the information available to us.
Creating and using forms
Your questions and presentation
You choose the form questions, descriptions, choices, images and destination after submission. Present them accurately, identify who is collecting the information and avoid deceptive requests. Publishing a form makes it available to visitors with its link; saving a draft alone does not publish it.
Responsibility for respondent data
When you decide why and how a form collects personal information, you are responsible for that collection. QRCodeTransfer stores and supplies the answers for the workspace that owns the form. Explain your purpose and privacy practices to respondents, obtain permission when required, limit questions to necessary information and control who can view the responses.
Information you must not solicit
Do not use ordinary forms to request account passwords, payment-card security codes, access tokens or other authentication secrets. Do not impersonate a trusted organization to obtain information. Do not collect sensitive personal records unless you have a lawful purpose and have first established suitable safeguards and contractual arrangements for that use.
Fair use and service capacity
Normal use
Use the capacity shown for your workspace for genuine personal or business activity. Review the distinction between a total asset allowance and an allowance for new items in a billing period. Creating through an API or bulk import does not remove the same permissions and capacity rules that apply in the user center.
High volume and misuse
Artificial traffic, repeated invalid requests and attempts to exhaust storage or processing can harm other users. We may limit requests or suspend harmful activity. Contact us before relying on unusual traffic volumes or a resale arrangement; a displayed allowance is not a promise of unlimited computing resources or uninterrupted throughput.
Plans and subscriptions
Paid checkout is not currently offered. Selecting a plan or a monthly or yearly option records your interest and takes you to account or billing information; it does not authorize a charge. The live plan information shows the features and allowances available to your workspace. Do not treat a displayed plan as a completed purchase.
Prices and future fee changes
Before any paid service is offered, the checkout terms must explain the actual price, currency, taxes where relevant, billing period, renewal and cancellation conditions. Changes to an existing paid arrangement must follow the applicable agreement and law. An inquiry or selection on the pricing page is not acceptance of an undisclosed fee.
Cancellation and refunds
Review your active plan and any recorded cancellation in the user center. Pausing a QR code, deleting an asset or leaving a workspace is a different action from cancelling a subscription. Any cancellation must be assessed against the actual subscription status and agreed billing terms.
No paid order is created by the present plan-selection flow. If you believe a charge is connected to QRCodeTransfer, contact us with the transaction reference and amount, but never a full card number or password. Refund rights for any future paid order will depend on its disclosed terms and rights that the law does not allow to be waived.
Accounts and workspace membership
Provide accurate account information, keep your password private and use only credentials issued to you. Workspace owners are responsible for choosing members and their roles. Remove access when a person no longer needs it. A member who may view data does not automatically have permission to change content, manage billing or issue credentials.
Tell us promptly if you suspect an account or credential has been compromised. Sign out of shared devices and revoke exposed API keys or webhook credentials where available. You must not create or share access in a way that conceals unauthorized activity.
Your content and intellectual property
You retain the rights you hold in your own files, designs, form content and responses. By supplying content, you permit the processing needed to store it, render QR codes, publish the assets you choose and deliver the service to authorized users or visitors. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to us.
Our software, website design and product branding remain subject to their respective owners' rights. Do not copy protected product materials or imply an endorsement without permission. Make sure your logos, product identifiers and linked material can lawfully be used for your intended audience.
External sites and integrations
A scan or click may leave QRCodeTransfer and open a site chosen by a workspace member. External websites, app stores and services set their own terms and privacy practices. Check the destination before giving information or making a purchase. Integration availability does not mean we control or endorse a third party's content or decisions.
Suspension, removal and closing access
Content can be paused, unpublished, removed or restricted when requested by an authorized user, required by law or necessary to address abuse. Closing access does not make a previously downloaded static QR code disappear. A printed dynamic address may stop opening its content when its asset or access is no longer active.
Keep the exports you need before removing content or leaving a workspace. A move to a recycle bin is not the same as erasing every stored file, response or revision. Contact us about an account or data-removal request. Responsibilities relating to prior use, rights and lawful records can continue after access ends.
Claims arising from your content
You are responsible for resolving claims caused by material you supply or activity you authorize, including rights violations and unlawful collection of personal information. Where applicable law permits, you may be required to reimburse reasonable losses directly caused by a breach of these terms. This does not impose liability that the law prohibits or remove defenses available to you.
Limits of responsibility
The effects of a QR code depend on its design, printed size, surface, scanner, destination and network. Test the actual final output before a campaign. We cannot guarantee a scan outcome, the availability of an external destination or the results of your business activity. To the extent law permits, we are not responsible for indirect losses or anticipated profits arising from those matters.
Availability and warranties
The service is supplied as available. Maintenance, errors, network issues or protective restrictions may interrupt access. No promise of a particular uptime, recovery time, hosting region or independent certification is made by this page. Evaluate whether the service meets your requirements before depending on it for a critical operation.
Rights that cannot be excluded
Nothing here excludes responsibility or a remedy where doing so would be unlawful. Mandatory consumer protections, data-protection rights and other non-waivable obligations take precedence over a conflicting statement. If one part is unenforceable, the other valid parts continue to apply.
Applicable rules and resolving concerns
Contact us first with the facts of a dispute and the outcome you seek so that it can be reviewed. These terms do not replace mandatory laws that apply to you or a separate valid agreement. They do not require you to give up access to a court, regulator or other remedy that applicable law preserves.
Changes to these terms
The date above identifies this version. Service changes may require a revised policy, which will be published here. Where applicable law or an existing agreement requires additional notice or consent, those requirements apply. Review the terms before beginning a new use or sharing data for a new purpose.
Privacy and contact
Read the privacy and security pages together with these terms. They explain the information used by the service and the controls available to users. QRCodeTransfer is the product name used on this website. Use the contact page for questions about these terms, an account, a reported abuse or a data request.
