Create a GS1 product code

Open the GS1 generator and select the correct identifier type for your product or logistic object. Enter a valid identifier value and destination URL, plus applicable qualifiers such as batch or serial number. Preserve leading zeros; these values are identifiers, not ordinary numbers to round or reformat.

Review validation and the resulting Digital Link or resolver URL before saving. Use your authorized product identifiers rather than treating an example as an officially registered GS1 company prefix. A demonstration or generated image does not perform registration with GS1.

Save a managed GS1 asset only in an eligible workspace and verify its public result by scanning the final export. The product identifiers and qualifiers are protected after creation. If they are wrong, create and distribute a new code rather than editing an existing printed identity.

Destination management, custom domains and API use retain their own plan and configuration requirements. Test the resolver and intended product page together. A visually attractive code does not prove identifier ownership, standards compliance or completed external certification.
