Static or dynamic: choose before you print

A static code stores its content directly. A dynamic code uses a managed link that you can update from your workspace.

Questions before you download

Do I need an account to download a static QR code?

No. Keep Dynamic switched off and download your static code directly. Saving editable links, batch generation and print layouts requires an account.

Does a static QR code expire?

The downloaded image has no built-in expiry. A website QR code still depends on the linked page being available.

Can I edit a QR code after printing?

Static content cannot be changed. If you expect the destination to change, create a dynamic code in your workspace before printing.

Which format should I choose?

Choose SVG for artwork that needs to scale, PNG for a lossless image, or JPG and WebP when your publishing tool requires them.

How large should I print my QR code?

There is no single size for every design. Longer content, logos and longer scanning distances need more space. Test the final size on the intended material.

Can I generate a batch or a full sheet of labels?

Yes. Sign in for batch generation and the print layout editor. You can bind data rows, arrange several codes and export a sheet as PDF.
