CMYK describes cyan, magenta, yellow and black inks. A CMYK PDF retains your chosen vector ink values, including 0 / 0 / 0 / 100 for black. Your screen remains an RGB approximation; proof the result on the intended paper.
Enter your destination. Open Customize design, then click a color value to open the print palette and CMYK controls.
Generate the code. Choose PDF, open Print settings and select CMYK. Choose mm or inches and enter the finished width.
For sheets or batches, open the print studio. Set bleed and safety margins, run the print check, then export and scan a sample at 100% scale.

CMYK PDF: vector QR codes and text, with explicit ink values. Uploaded images are converted using a generic ICC profile.
CMYK TIFF: a raster image with DPI metadata and an embedded generic ICC profile. Conversion from RGB does not preserve custom vector ink recipes.
RGB PNG / SVG: suitable when your printer asks for RGB artwork. PNG has DPI metadata; SVG stays vector. Neither is a CMYK file.
Raster export: 150, 203, 300, 600 or 1200 DPI, within image-size limits. Higher DPI does not make a physically small code easier to scan.
Prefer K-only black for small QR modules when the printer supports it. Keep a clear quiet zone. Our checks flag small modules, low-resolution images, safety-margin intrusions and high total ink; they cannot certify a physical print. Custom press profiles, spot colors and PDF/X certification are not included.
