Recover a deleted code

Last updated

What to do

Choose the owning workspace and open the relevant asset list. Set the status filter to Deleted and apply it. Identify the code using its name, ID and retained public URL; recovery should target the original record, not a new code with a similar name.

Use Restore on that row. The service checks ownership, workspace availability and any applicable plan allowance. The original slug stays reserved during deletion and is retained by restoration, so an existing printed image can still refer to the same identity.

Inspect the resulting state after recovery. A code may return to its previous paused state rather than immediately becoming active. Use the appropriate Resume action if permitted, then scan the original image and verify the expected destination.

If restoration reports insufficient allowance, inspect Billing and the effective TOTAL or PERIOD rules before retrying. A blocked asset needs authorized risk handling; creating another record cannot bypass that restriction. Read-only members must ask an authorized workspace member to perform recovery.
