Create and publish a product digital label

What to do

Prepare product and batch information, the source documents and a version reference. Publish only information you are authorized to share. Each label type has its own fields, shown below.

The scan opens the currently published label: product identity first, then batch, version, dates and the specialist information. Supporting PDFs and source links remain together on the mobile page.

Use one page for the batch or sales unit that the code identifies. Seed and pesticide labels require a unit identifier. Do not reuse a printed unit code for a different product. This editor stores your identifier; it does not issue a government traceability number.

Copy the facts from your approved source, keep quantities and units together, and attach the relevant PDF. An information date and version help readers distinguish an updated document. The platform checks the field format, not the truth of a laboratory result or registration claim.

Save a draft, then publish a reviewed version. Publishing keeps the scan address unchanged and creates a version record. Replacing a source PDF does not update the page until you select the new file and publish. Pausing the page stops public access; saved private data remains available to its editors.

Keep mandatory packaging information on the physical label. This page presents customer-supplied digital information and does not certify compliance, replace a required physical label or connect to an authority database. Check the rules for your product and market before printing.

Pro and above. These labels use the ordinary published-page allowance; draft versions do not become visible until publication. PDF files use the normal workspace file limits.

Before producing a batch, scan the final-size artwork and compare the product, batch, unit, version and document against the packaging. Keep a quiet zone and sufficient contrast. CMYK PDF and measured print layouts are available in the print editor.
