Tour guide

Guide visitors through numbered stops with text, images, audio and map links.

List the places a visitor should encounter and place them in walking order. Prepare a clear description, an optional photograph and an optional audio explanation for each stop. Use a map link that points to the actual stop rather than a general venue homepage.

What happens after the scan

The scan opens a stop index. A visitor chooses a numbered stop, reads its explanation, listens to its optional recording and can open the map or move to the next stop. The page does not collect a visitor location, mark a stop as visited or require a tracking permission.

What you can configure

A route people can navigate in either order

Keep up to 30 stops on one page. The index and Next stop actions use the saved order; visitors may still return to another stop. Reordering content changes the published itinerary, not the printed QR identity.

Use one route code or a code near an exhibit

A reception sign can introduce the whole route. An exhibit label can link to the same published page with a section anchor when you create a separate destination link. Preview the complete public route and test the placement on a sample sign.

Prepare these fields

Stop title
A concise place or exhibit name, shown in both the index and its section.
Stop description
Write the context a visitor needs at this physical location, including practical access or route instructions.
Image (optional)
Select a PNG or JPEG belonging to the workspace. Give each stop an image that matches the actual place.
Audio file (optional)
Attach an MP3 or PCM WAV explanation for this stop. Visitors choose when to listen.
Transcript
Provide a written equivalent for the optional recording. Important route information should also remain in the stop description.
Stop map URL
Supply a full HTTP or HTTPS map address. The map provider handles its own navigation and privacy choices.

Keep the printed code useful

Change a temporary closure, a stop photo or a narration in the draft. Publish after checking the whole route and its external map links. Existing printed signs continue to open the route; a changed stop order should be checked against the physical signage.
